A Level II Certified Member is one who has successfully completed the four-day certification course in its entirety either by attending in person or by completing the USGTF Level II Home Study Course, yet has not completed the playing ability test. This course is held on the first four days of every certification course. (Monday – Thursday).

Written Rules Test Multiple choice questions. USGA Rule Book is issued to you and permitted during test along with the easier to understand version, “Rules in Brief.”

Verbal Teaching Test This is based on detection and correction of swing errors. It will be taught to you during the course of the week so that you feel comfortable in this scenario.

The United States Golf Teachers Federation offers two options to obtain Level II membership status. You may attend the 4-day certification course in person, which is recommended due to the fact that teaching golf is a people/personality industry or you may elect to achieve the Level II status through our home study.
