By Joseph P. Bermel, Jr. I am a USGTF Level III member from Sayville, Long Island, New York, originally from Islip Terrace, Long Island, and the first son of 15 Children. In the world of golf, I am known as The Putting Doctor.  I was a top contender in the World Putting Championship and a runner-up in the New York State Putting Championship in a playoff. I am a putting expert and have taught men and women for the past 31 years. I have appeared on News12 Long Island, Fox TV, as well as CBS Radio/KDKA Pittsburgh for the US Open at Oakmont. I have also been featured in newspapers, authored several magazine articles, and appeared in online news. THE Putting Doctor, ThePuttingDoctor.com and logo are official United States Registered Trademarks. The Putting Doctor DVD, “How To Putt Well,” is sold around the world. Our second DVD, “How to Putt Well” for golf coaches, was just produced for the World Golf Coaches Alliance and will be available through the USGTF website around June 1. I perform The Putting Doctor Road Show at expos and shows on the east coast and Midwest. My show consists of a presentation, an actual putting demonstration on a mobile putting green with real golf balls, a real golf hole and a practice putting cup, and a brief Q&A period. Then, there is a session of one-on-one help for all the golfers who wish to advance their putting game. It is truly a unique and first-class show.
