Viva Las Vegas! America’s recreational capital has been selected to host the 13th biennial World Golf Teachers Cup and the 22nd annual United States Golf Teachers Cup Monday-Thursday, October 16-19 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. Boulder Creek’s 27-hole complex is a challenging but fair venue and is a favorite of longtime US Cup participants. It last hosted the World Cup in 2007. In addition, two new events will be contested in 2017, the inaugural United States Senior Golf Teachers Cup and the World Senior Golf Teachers Cup for those 50 and over. As the USGTF and WGTF continue to increase participation in the 50-and-over divisions, these new competitions recognize the changing landscape of both the USGTF and the competition. As always, the World Cup will feature team competition from nations around the world, hoping to knock off defending champion Brazil.
