In what’s becoming a predictable scenario, the European Ryder Cup team once again captured the biennial event 16 1/2 – 11 1/2 from the outgunned USA squad. On paper, the US squad seemed to be an even match, but for some reason, they can’t seem to come out ahead except for about once a decade. Whatever the reason – and for every person there seems to be an opinion – the Euros play some of their finest golf of the year in this competition.
Congratulations to Team Europe and captain Paul McGinley for a fine performance, and the USA will be looking for revenge in 2016 at Hazeltine in Minnesota.
