Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, a JC Golf property, has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized Head Golf Professional with strong verbal communication and customer focus skills. This role will be responsible for managing the staff and operations of the Golf Department, to ensure first-class quality service while maintaining the highest possible levels of employee morale.

HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
• Satisfactorily complete daily paperwork to include the processing of the department’s daily deposit, as required, and completion of all corresponding logs and reports. All transactions are to be reviewed for irregularities, specifically ensuring all voids, returns and discounts have the appropriate backup and approval.
• Hire, train, schedule, support, review, discipline, and terminate employees directly accountable to his/her position, to maintain highest possible levels of employee morale and department productivity.
• Understand and respond to the current market trends, to oversee the purchase of all materials, supplies, and equipment needed to maintain and upgrade the quality of departmental goods and services.
• Create and ensure the buying plan stays within budget, and to maintain an adequate inventory of high quality merchandise in the golf shop, that will meet business demands.
• Establish and enforce golf shop goals and policies.
• Oversee the tournament department and assist in booking rounds.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have successfully completed Business School I & II of the PGA program and I and II of the Player’s Ability Test (PAT).
• Demonstrated ability to train staff and ensure first-class customer service.
• English fluency required.
