Job Description: We have an immediate opening for an exceptional career opportunity for a Head Golf Professional. As a Head Golf Professional, you are a key member of the golf operations team at the property, overseeing golf and golf-related activities at the facility. Previous golf industry experience is a requirement for the position. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules and availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
Location: Las Vegas, NM. This position requires you to be on-site.
On-Call Outside of Business Hours: Because of the nature of the job, this position may require the person to be on-call or work outside of business hours and weekend.
Oversees golf operations including tournaments, rules, tee sheet activity, merchandise inventory, range operations, pace of play, player service operations, cart fleet
Maintains an attractive and orderly appearance in the golf shop
Supervises maintenance of golf cart fleet
Provides golf lessons and instruction.
Interprets and imposes club policies, rules, and regulations
Manages inventory of merchandise in the pro shop and the outside service equipment
Assists in the development and day to day tracking of the budget and business plan. Helps to control expenses in relation to revenues.
Creates a customer service oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the members. Ensures that associates provide a high level of customer service.
Works closely with the Superintendent and the Food and Beverage Manager on a daily basis to ensure timely communication and to establish a good working relationship.
Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
Performs other duties as required.
Must have solid supervisory and leadership skills

[Preferred: ] PGA Membership or PGA registered apprentice in good standing
[Preferred: ] College Degree (PGM)
Must have 3-5 years golf industry experience
Must have experience in golf operations management and a demonstrated ability to run a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented golf operation
Knowledge of budgeting and expense management
Experience in golf instruction
Experience conducting golf outings/events
Legal to Work in the United States and be able to pass background check and screening.
