The stunning Waldorf Astoria Orlando, an Official Walt Disney World Hotel, is seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. The resort’s 18-hole Rees Jones-designed championship Orlando course winds through a large wetland preserve, measuring 7,108 yards with a par 72, slope 139, and 74.6 rating from its professional tees.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years working in golf professional services, as well as strong customer service skills. An Active PGA Member, or working towards becoming a PGA Member is required. The Golf Course is open 7 days a week and a flexible schedule is required with shifts ranging between 6:00am-6:30pm.

What will I be doing?

Acts in absence of director/head golf professional to manage daily golf operations including registration, events and tournaments, merchandising, equipment maintenance and rentals, player/outside services, golf-related food and beverage and golf instruction. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff. Assists in managing the financial aspects of the operation including profitability, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing and inventory control.
