Description | Job Type During shoulder and off-season times, responsibilities will also include outside service needs such as cart and driving range duties. Teaching opportunities are available and at the discretion of the Head Golf Professional ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Assist with all aspects of the golf operation in a professional and efficient manner. ? Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patrons including handling of comps for industry and customer appeasement situations ? Run club and outside events through the use of Golf Genius ? Monitor Pace of Play and provide Starter services when required ? Ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the starter. ? Answer telephone calls, giving accurate answers and taking appropriate messages as needed. ? Maintain Golf Shop appearance and inventory levels including participation in monthly inventory procedures. ADDITIONAL DUTIES ? Conduct oneself in a courteous manner and present a friendly image at all times. ? Assist with or lead the organizing and running of all tournaments and outings. ? Assist with Player Development Programs including golf clinics and other instructional programs as needed. ? Knowledge of and proficiency in the GHIN and Golf Genius Programs required ? Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. ? Reliable means of transportation to and from work. ? Effective time management and multi-tasking skills. ? Ability and willingness to work early mornings, weekends and holidays. ? Calligraphy Skills a plus. Education and/or Experience: ? High School diploma or GED ? Minimum: Enrolled in Level 1 of the PGA or LPGA Associate Program Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ? Class II Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission ? Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance. ? Active membership in or acceptable progress in the PGA or LPGA’s Associate program.
