Overview
The Junior Golf Coach/ Assistant Instructor role is a seasonal to year-round position at Halla Greens Golf Course in Chanhassen and the Golf Zone in Shakopee. Halla Greens in a high-traffic executive course in the southwest metro.

This Junior Coach role may include PGA Junior Camps, GolfTrack Junior League, weekly intermediate and advanced “Track” programs, US Kids Tour events, and private and semi-private coaching.

Most, if not all, classes are held Monday – Thursday. You will have opportunity to teach private lessons at Halla Greens if qualifications are deemed appropriate.

You will work with two full-time PGA Teaching Professionals and be given the chance to lead group coaching programs as an independent contractor. Full teaching schedule will be available during the interview process.

Being a great communicator with a willingness to be mentored for professional growth and a desire to build your coaching business.

Experience Required
Ability to coach kids ages 6 – 18, and work well with large groups of students
1-2 years of coaching required.
Must pass background check
Fitness certifications or skills (TPI level I or greater) preferred, not required.
Experience working with little supervision and ability to stay on task.

Responsibilities:

Must be on time and ready to teach for all coaching programs in a professional manner
Set up and tear down for coaching programs.
Teach 25-30 hours/ week of group programs. Ability to schedule private lessons outside of group programs (based on teaching ability/experience).
Maintain professional appearance
Promote GolfTrack Academy during all customer interactions
Communicate with General Manager and Halla Greens staff for all day-to-day functions.
Knowledge of Word and Excel. Be able to learn online scheduling software (Uschedule.com)
Handle cash and credit card transactions and report all coaching hours to GolfTrack.
