This is the opportunity to be the Assistant Golf Professional at one of the most iconic clubs in the county!

This position is responsible for assisting Head Professional in all areas of the complete management and service delivery of the golf operation excluding golf course maintenance. Areas of assistance include, but are not limited to, all aspects of staff management, verbal and written communication to members, club event management, outside tournament organization and services, outside player services management, retail shop and inventory management, implementation of pace-of-play initiatives, implementation of player development programs and delivery of world-class service to both members and guests. Our season is typically May through October.

REQUIREMENTS:

1 year experience working as an Assistant Golf Professional
Supervisory experience

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with merchandising, inventory and display techniques.
Ability to utilize computer programs: Word, Excel, Power Point and specialized programs unique to Vail Resorts
Knowledge of preparation, coordination and running of golf tournaments.
Experience with memberships and the unique needs of memberships, either at a daily fee facility with annual memberships, a semi-private or private club.
Experience operating a point of sales system
