Description & Requirements:
Summary
Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, reservations, golf operations and special events preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.

Performs opening, mid and closing procedures for the shop or store.

Makes reservations (tee-times, classes, etc.) and assists customers on the phone.

Responsible for accountability of all sales and money transactions made.

Collects applicable fees from patrons as they arrive.

Full involvement in the entire golf operation which will include maintaining the practice facility, starting, player assistant, and golf service representative, when needed.

Assists player assistants with pace of play from the golf shop and sends messages to golfers as needed.

Assists with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.

Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store.

Assists with creating appealing displays.

Assists with periodic physical inventories.

Responsible for promoting golf programs at the golf shop counter including rewards and/or cards.

Attends staff meetings.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Ability to create extraordinary guest experience by delivering superior service.

Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager such as but not limited to GHIN administration, rental program, Visage GPS administration, etc.

May be asked to take on additional tasks with tournament operations or special events, as needed.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
Must have experience working with computer software/systems such as Microsoft Office or POS systems. One year certificate from college or technical school; or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Age Requirement
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to guests and employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License. Valid California Drivers License
