Position Summary
The Global Brand Marketing Lead position is responsible for protecting and managing the UA brand in the Golf space around the world. More specifically this role will function as the category “QB” for the brand consumer journey, campaign development and all brand related GTM activities. The Lead will command a full understanding of the Golf Focused Performer Consumer/Athlete and drive appropriate category positioning and marketing strategies globally to engage this individual. An understanding of the global/regional marketplace and business dynamics will be important. The use of insights, data and learnings to inform decisions is critical. This position will manage the asset creation process, as well as work cross-functionally with key category and regional stakeholders. This position requires a strategic, curious and action-oriented thinker who has a passion for tactical marketing execution and detailed brief writing. Driving Revenue and hitting established marketing and business KPI’s (ex. awareness, considerations, conversion) are fundamental goals of the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Own and drive the Golf Category Consumer Journey. Obsess the Consumer and Category Positioning.
Manage Golf Category seasonal GTM process and integrate inputs from all X-functional partners. e.g. Social, Comms, etc.
Manage brand and category positioning across the globe, region by region. Lead the overall planning, impact and effective alignment of golf related initiatives such as brand positioning, brand values, brand messaging and brand communications, across all channels.
Represent and communicate category POV and strategies to wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate formal hand-off with Regional Marketing and other business partners to ensure they fully embrace global activation plan, understand global guardrails, and have everything they need to execute plans successfully in each region.
Drive omni-channel integration of consumer journey via integrated end to end planning.
Collaborate across teams to measure performance and summarize key campaign learnings. Implement learnings into upcoming GTM cycles.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Purpose-led + consumer obsessed + Brand enhancing
Possess and convey a confident, authentic understanding of the golf business.
Deep understanding and experience building GTM plans (Consumer, Positioning, Insights, Strategy, Brief Writing)
Strategic, curious, enterprise and ambitious mindset
Ability to understand + synthesize data, insights, marketing metrics
Understanding of global/regional commercial marketplace and business dynamics
Ability to lead, manage, and influence x-functional partners
Deep understanding of the consumer/audience journey
Ability to create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations
Effectively present/communicate to teams/groups
Managing and/or influencing teams and/or teammates
Self-motivated and passionate about the golf space
Education And / Or Experience
B.S/B/A in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
7+ years of Marketing experience preferably in the Golf industry
Other Requirements
Travel: IE- 5-10% of the year
