The Golf Professional works under the supervision of the Director of Golf, assisting in all areas of golf operations including tournament/league operations, the registration of players, assigning tee times, billing members and guests for golf related charges, golf instruction and merchandising. of Jonas and Golf Genius is a plus. The schedule for the Pro Shop is November through April, Sunday, Monday and Thursday, (approximately 30 hours) and from May through October, Sunday and Thursday, (approximately 20 hours). The Pro Shop hours are 7 am to 5 pm (Note: The assigned hours are subject to change depending on Riverbend activities.)

In addition, the Assistant Golf Professional will provide golf instruction to members of the Riverbend Golf Club and individuals outside of the membership in the basic and advance golfing skills. A Riverbend Rate Schedule for lessons will be used as compensation for lessons conducted. Lessons will be scheduled for times, other than days scheduled to be in the Pro Shop. The Golf Professional should be skilled in offering instruction in every facet of the game including grip, stance, address, swing principles, chipping, pitching, driving, putting, sand play, and trouble shots and develop/conduct group clinics. A current teaching certification is required.
