NEW INFO FOR USGTF REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 6th annual Southeast Region Championship will be played Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4, at the world-famous World Woods Golf Course, located between Brooksville and Homosassa Springs, Florida.  The entry deadline has been extended to Thursday, July 25, and the entry fee is $175 ($180 if paying by credit card).  You may enter by phone at the USGTF National Office at (888) 346-3290, or through regular mail to the National Office.  Mike Stevens, SE Region director, will serve as the tournament director.  There will be one division, but tee assignments will be based on age and gender.  The recommended hotel is the Quality Inn in Crystal River (www.ChoiceHotels.com). All USGTF members, regardless of residence, are eligible to play. The 2nd annual Northeast Regional Tournament will played Saturday, August 10, at Jack Frost National GC in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania.  Four divisions will be contested:  Ages 49 and under; 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over; ladies.  The entry fee is $150, of which half will go to the prize money fund.  The entry deadline is Thursday, August 1, and all fees have to be paid at that time.  To enter, make checks payable to John Savage, Northeast Region director, 46 Princeton Court, Langhorne, PA19047.  If you have any questions, you may contact John at (267) 992-4692, or e-mail him at savogolf@aol.com.
