RECOMMENDED READING: INSIDE, OUTSIDE, AND ON THE ROPES

Sometimes at the USGTF certification courses we hear candidates who are nearing 50 say that they plan to “chase the Champions Tour.”  Well, Keith Gockenbach, a chemical engineer, left his job to do just that. His adventure is chronicled in a book titled Inside, Outside, and On the Ropes:  Life Lessons from Q-School and the Majors (South Nine Publishing.)  Gockenbach tied in his experiences with lessons that he learned that can be applied to both golf and life.

The positives of the book are too numerous to ignore, and as a result the book is highly recommended reading for not only teaching and playing professionals, but golf and sports fans in general.
