United States Golf Teachers Cup.  The 18th annual United States Golf Teachers Cup will be played Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8, at Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica Resorts, Mississippi, approximately 35 minutes south of downtown Memphis, Tennessee.  This is always a popular event.  For more information and to enter, please visit www.USGolfTeachersCup.com. World Golf Teachers Cup.  The 11th biennial World Golf Teachers Cup will be played Tuesday through Thursday, October 15-17, at Qingpu Sun Island Golf Club in Shanghai, China.  This is the first World Cup to be held in Asia.  For more information, please visit www.WorldGolfTeachersCup.com. United States Match Play Championship.  The 2nd annual United States Match Play Championship will be held Monday through Friday, September 23-27, at Indian Hills Golf Course in Fort Pierce, Florida, and feature a guaranteed $5,000 first place prize.  The tournament is open to all professional and amateur golfers.  For information and to enter, please visit www.MatchPlayOpen.com. USGTF Northeast Region Championship. The USGTF Northeast Regional Tournament will be held on August 10 at Jack Frost National G.C. in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountain region. Starting times will begin at 12:00 noon. The entry fee is $150, and half will be put into the prize money fund. The entry deadline has been extended to Wednesday, August 7.
