USGTF MEMBER AND BAG TAG COLLECTION

Dennis Daugherty of Clermont, Florida, has kept almost every USGTF bag tag since he first became a member in 1995. Attending a certification course in Naples, Florida, Daugherty remarked, “A room full of students of every age group. I was scared and excited at the same time. The staff made it very comfortable, and soon each day was very rewarding.” Since then, Daugherty said, “I have worked with a girls’ high school golf team, handled 2-, 3-, and 5-day golf schools, helped organize golf events for the American Cancer Society, United Way, Make a Wish Foundation, and many other non-profit organizations. Most recently, I have been working with a group called Fairways for Warriors. These are combat veterans who have given up so much for our freedom.” Daugherty concluded by saying, “It is with great pride that I am a member of the United States Golf Teachers Federation.”
